The National Hospital of Traditional Medicine (NHTM) is the leading hospital of traditional medicine in Vietnam. The team combines both traditional and modern practice in the treatment of a range of common and chronic disease. The hospital plays a valuable role in preserving the local medical system of Vietnam and is a WHO (World Health Organization) collaborating centre for traditional medicine. The Hospital also regularly conducts research on the efficacy of local natural products using both in vitro and in vivo approaches.
In 2017 the Max Biocare Institute partnered with the NHTM to trial the effectiveness of a novel treatment for gout. To find out more information, please the Research and Innovation Platform at the MBCI
